

Thom Conroy
Thom trained as a Multi Instrumentalist at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama
for 6 years (2017-2023). He graduated with an MMus (Distinction)
and received The Simon Clarkson Award,
recognising him as the best all-round musician of the college.
In 2019, he became one of the few musicians in the College’s history to transfer
from Strings to Woodwind mid-course. He now plays over 50 instruments, spanning Flutes, Clarinets, Saxophones, Double Reeds, Strings and Ethnic/World Instruments.
Thom works in the West End and for UK Touring Musical productions,
as well as performing various Classical recitals, and is resident orchestrator for the West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts in his hometown of Witney.
He is also a visiting artist at Dawkes Music.
In 2023, Thom entertained aboard Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth II
as a resident musician on her world tour of 18 countries.
He now appears as a Guest Entertainer in the Classical Recital programmes for
Cunard, P&O and Fred Olsen Cruise Lines.
Thom has performed in many major venues across the UK
including the Royal Albert Hall, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Birmingham Symphony Hall,
the Sheldonian Theatre and Dorchester Abbey (Oxford),
Wales Millenium Centre and St David’s Hall (Cardiff).
